Strangely enough, I could use a pair for garden tasks around the native spruce trees. After clearing out the area under the lowest branches, I am left with a left arm that looks as if I have boils. Who knew spruce were so grumpy?

Hi Fellow Blogathoner! I've enjoyed wandering around your site, checking out the photos and picking up some tips and ideas. Here's a question for you: How are the persimmon trees up there? I live in Hollister. It doesn't look like any persimmons growing on the mama's trees. A few of her friends say the same.
ReplyDeleteSu-sieee! Mac,
ReplyDeleteI'm not growing any persimmons myself but I've seen trees in this area hanging heavy with them in the fall. Not sure if they're fuyu or hachiya, though. Can't imagine why they wouldn't grow in Hollister. Maybe you just need to do a bit of pruning on the tree to stimulate it a little.
Thanks for visiting!

I am looking for good rose gloves. My hands and arms are always covered with small cuts and thorns from weeds, prickly shrubs and the beautiful flowering cactus.
