  1. I love this snail vine. What zone does it grow in? I've never heard of it and I'm thinking maybe it can't tolerate zone 5-6.

    The snail vine (Vigna caracalla) is only hardy in zones 9 and above. I've been having some problems with it--the aphids love it, I'm afraid, and a couple of periods of frost in the last couple winters didn't do it much good. So it's still not looking as lush as I'd hoped. But I'll give it another year or two and see how it does.

  3. Lovely photos of your garden. I have never seen the snail vine before but I am in the UK so probably would not do so well over here.
